"The goal of environmental stewardship is more than just a career practice, it is a lifelong passion. As a former industrial engineer and marketing professional, I have promoted and practiced environmental responsibility since growing up in rural North Carolina.

With nearly 40 years of industrial experience, most recently having responsibility for developing environmental strategies, I have become convinced that, for environmental programs to be truly sustainable, they must first be cost effective.
