"The goal of environmental stewardship is more than just a career practice, it is a lifelong passion. As a former industrial engineer and marketing professional, I have promoted and practiced environmental responsibility since growing up in rural North Carolina. With nearly 40 years of industrial experience, most recently having responsibility for developing environmental strategies, I have become convinced that, for environmental programs to be truly sustainable, they must first be cost effective. This sensitivity to practicality is especially relevant to the tourist and hospitality industries. Fortunately, with proper focus, programs can be instituted that enhance the experience of visitors, are environmentally preferable, and reduce operating costs" Dobbin Callahan, President of Skye ConSM Callahan earned a Bachelor of Arts in economics from Davidson College in Davidson, North Carolina and an MBA with a marketing and finance emphasis from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
