Skye Con^SM serves as the Administrator and independent third-party Auditor for Tennessee Green Hospitality^SM, a uniquely cooperative certification program for Hotels, Restaurants and Attractions throughout Tennessee.

Tennessee Green Hospitality provides assurance to guests and potential guests that certified facilities have achieved a significant level of sustainability in their operations, and are continuing to improve.

The program provides guidance and resources to participating facilities that can greatly reduce the impact on the environment by using proven techniques to reduce waste and, in may circumstances, to save money. Certification is awarded after an on-site visit to ensure that all core standars are in place.

Once certified, facilities are encouraged to continue to work with the Tennessee Hospitality Association's efforts to increase awareness in businesses and the community, to reduce waste from operations, to promote natural resource conservation. to promote environmental efficiency measures in all aspects of their operation.

Tennessee Green Hospitality was developed with the encouragement and guidance of the Tennessee Department of Tourism Development.
